What is Earlens®?
Earlens is the world’s first and only hearing solution to directly vibrate the eardrum. By sending sound information directly to the eardrum with a speaker, you get more complete sound than other hearing devices on the market.
Premium Sound
Traditional hearing aids amplify sound through a speaker. But tiny speakers can only amplify a limited bandwidth of sound before the sound quality deteriorates. Think of how much better music sounds through a theater surround sound system versus tiny earbuds. Conventional hearing aids try to compensate for these limitations through complex algorithms, but those can only go so far. That’s why Earlens decided to change the game.
With normal hearing, sound enters the ear canal and vibrates eardrum, which activates natural hearing system. Instead of using a speaker to amplify waves, Earlens uses a custom Lens to gently move the eardrum, just like in normal hearing. The result is rich, with crisp highs full lows across bandwidth—including higher frequencies that contribute speech clarity understanding.
Earlens is custom designed and built for your ears. Your listening experience is then optimized as your Earlens is fit and programmed based on your exact hearing needs. You can even personalize additional settings for different situations and adjust your Earlens using the Earlens App and Made for iPhone connectivity features.
Premium Care
Unlike devices that are sold directly online with little to no support from a hearing professional, or traditional hearing aids that are fit by an audiologist, Earlens combines the expert care of an Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) physician and audiologist. In fact, Earlens is only offered through ENT physicians working with a hearing professional.
Unique Fit
Your ears are as unique as you are. That’s why every patient gets a custom solution from Earlens, built to ensure comfort, and optimal sound quality. When you choose Earlens, your ENT physician will take an impression of your ear that will be used to build your Lens, as well as the Ear Tip that is worn in the ear canal. Once your devices are ready, your audiologist will program your Processors based on your personal hearing needs.
